5 things I'm not supposed to be doing with a back injury that I'm doing anyway:
1. Lifting 44lbs of dog food into and out of the cart and car
2. Running (whether for fitness or after the children)
3. Sleeping on the sofa
4. Falling on the ice
5. Standing in one place folding laundry (or doing dishes, cooking etc)
I have done all of the above in the last week (some of them
several times). I suppose that's why for my big Friday night, I'm laying on an ice pack
nomming taking painkillers and muscle relaxers instead of living it up, partying, swinging from the chandelier and skydiving. Okay, we don't have a chandelier...and I'm scared of heights. But I could be living it up or partying! Anyway, it's not like I'm in physical therapy anymore (I'm too fat to be pain-free apparently), so no one's going to yell at me. So what the hell, I'm only hurting myself!
I'm so sorry for you. Backpain is the worst. I hope you're feeling better soon. ):
