You're my strength when I grow weary

Last night The Viking and I went to a Super Bowl Party, of sorts. What it really was was dinner with our friends with lots of hootin' and hollerin' and general redneck rough-house-ery! There was giggling and light hearted, loving, teasing and great food.

To be honest, my favorite part of these events is always the sincerely sweet way The Viking treats me. There's always a lot of laughter, of course, but he's always very affectionate with me even in front of other people. Last night, for instance, we put our socks-ed feet up on this giant ottoman and Viking Mike, for some reason, got the idea to intertwine my toes with his. After several minutes like this, he leaned over and whispered in my ear, "look babe, we're holding toes!". I feel like this might be toooo cheesy if I saw it in a movie but it's my actual life and the sweet, tender way my husband really treats me after alllll these years together. Life is good today, indeed.

Anywho, I thought I'd give y'all a little belly shot. This is me at 18 weeks, a mere 2 days before my ultrasound!

Where you lead me, I will go
I will stand strong beside you,
No matter how hard the wind might blow
Our love will last forever, like this diamond on my hand
Cause I was born to be your woman, and you were made to be my man
