Lord please let me get through this day:
A day of making beds and washing dishes.
Please let me make it through the trials
and trying to fullfill everyone's wishes.
Get me through the windows and laundry
the dusting and the floors,
the "mom guess what"s and
the homework and math scores.
Let me fix a good meal
something everyone will eat.
And please, Lord, let me give my hubby
some lovin that can't be beat.
Let me do it all with serenity,
patience, love and grace
and if you could swing it,
a smile upon my face.
Amen.
